What it is?
The INTERREG Program main objective is to create added value for this trinational region by cofinancing different trinational projects.
The Program is is concerning a period of 9 years between 2007 and 2015 and is a part of the “European territorial cooperation” objectives that are a part of the Regional Policy of the EU.
The relevant Operational Program has been drawn up by the actors of the cross-border cooperation in the Upper Rhine region and adopted by the European Commission on 24th october 2007.
INTERREG & BioValley
Thanks to the INTERREG Program, BioValley is what it is today: the leading trinational Life Science Clusters in Europe! During 15 years BioValley has received financial support by the INTERREG Program and its respective regional cofinancers for its development from a network to a most dynamic cluster.
