BioValley Central Association
The BioValley Central Association is the trinational organization in charge of coordinating the trinational activities of the BioValley initiative. The BioValley trademark belongs to the BioValley Central Association.

BioValley National Platforms
BioValley is represented on a national level by the BioValley platforms, namely BioValley Basel in Switzerland, Alsace BioValley in France and BioValley Platform Germany. (see also BioValley Countries)

BioValley Management Team
The BioValley Management Team (BMT) is in charge of the realization of the projects in coordination with the BioValley Central Association and the three national platforms. Before implementation, the projects are validated by the co-financers on the basis of recommendations by the BioValley Expert Team, a team composed of 15 experts, 5 originating from each country.

The BioValley Management Team is composed of 3 coordinators, one in each country:

France:
Mrs Christine Gradt: one of the members of the team that launched BioValley in 1997 during the Interreg II Program. She is in charge of the trinational affairs in Alsace BioValley, the French section of the BioValley organization.

Germany:
Dr. Thea Siegenführ: an economist and one of the members of the team that launched BioValley in 1997 during the Interreg II Program. She is the coordinator of the BioValley Germany Platform, the German section of the BioValley organization. She is also vice-chairman of the Technology Foundation BioMed Freiburg, the regional coordinator for the BioRegion Freiburg, the region within the German part of BioValley.
